“Low boy” cymbals were the direct ancestor of the modern hi-hat. Early drum kits had a foot-operated pair of cymbals mounted very close to the floor, usually only a few inches high. The drummer pressed a pedal to bring the two cymbals together for a sharp “chick” sound. Because the cymbals sat low, near the … Read more

“There’s a Big Conspiracy here to get the Aether out of Physics.” — 17:30 in — Aether was never disproven but voted out of physics based on lies, misrepresentations, faulty data. At the deepest level, “absolute truth” is not what most institutional language gives; rather, it gives models, measurements, definitions, error bars, and authority-managed consensus. The honest distinction is: Uncertainties are a fog machine. That fog is where credentialed people can hide bad premises, rig incentives, launder ideology, and tell ordinary people: “don’t trust your senses; … Read more

Take a source WAV, make a MP3 from it. Invert the mp3. Subtract the mp3 from the WAV. The resulting “compression artifact” will seriously shock you by the remarkable amount of ‘content’ removed; not only will the song be entirely wholly instantly recognizable, it will in fact not sound very much worse than the mp3. … Read more
Pretty fascinating. A good follow-up would be to inject viscous fluid into the ping-pong ball to approximate the egg’s innards.; alternately, an emptied egg could approximate the ping-pong ball, except its shape. Either would at least reduce variables.
Can hardly wait to hear how it all plays out! Proof
2:22:25 Wow! Love the crowds approval after she nails those fills. Okay, I’ll admit it, I cried when I saw this! Yeah, were NP around he’d likely choose her to ‘sit in’. Very happy for all! Interested to hear some new stuff and to see what she chooses as her alt kit It’s so so … Read more
Common thread amongst all these ‘greats’ that have made themselves into commodity junk — Chinafication.
In Utah County (Utah State), where an armed officer (of American Fork Police Dept) asserts that they ‘play differently there’ — apparently with force, hubris, impunity and unconstitutionality — a stunning reality is unfolding. “Illegal traffic stops. Illegal searches. Illegal seizures. False arrests. Malicious prosecutions. And more.” Toy Lego store, accused of $200k theivery, “Bricks … Read more
